NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS
What does a non refundable deposit mean? Well
the sound of it can feel very uncomfortable as a client. What is important to understand is that this policy not only protects
us as a seller but you as a buyer as well. At Little Miracles Aviary our standard deposit is $250. This deposit secures a
baby for the client and also secures a commitment for us as a seller. The deposit means that if the client for any
reason decides to no longer purchase the bird that the deposit will NOT be refunded. If however the seller is unable to provide
the baby which a deposit has been placed on the money WILL be refunded. Reasons for non delivery of baby that are refundable
are: death, injury, unavailable colour or seller chooses not to sell to client. Sexe of the baby will not be considered a
valid reason for refund. We will not guarantee the availability of male or female for your baby. If you have placed a deposit
on a baby and the sexe of your preference is not available you will have the choice to either take the opposite sexe or wait
for a future clutch. If no future clutch is available within 6 months of deposit, the deposit will ne refunded.
SHIPPING
Little Miracles Aviary will ship across Canada at buyers expense. Shipping costs
AND cost of bird(s) must be paid in full 48 hours prior to shipping. We ship with Air Canada and depending on destination
shipping costs up to $130 a $40 fee for the crate is also added to cost of shipping. We will only ship spring to fall . No
winter shipping. Birds will not be shipped prior to 13 weeks old.
VISITATIONS
At Little Miracles Aviary we encourage regular visits for new baby owners as the babies
are being raised. A notice of 24 hours for visiting appointment must be made. Visits are permitted starting at 4 weeks old.
Clients must wash their hands immediately before handling their baby. NO ONE is permitted to visit the breeders. This reduces the risk of disease and limits
the stress for the breeders.
SELLING UNWEANED BABIES
This policy is a short and non discretionary one. We will NOT under any circumstances
sell unweaned babies to anyone regardless of experience. Babies will not leave our care prior to 13 weeks of age.
PAYMENT
Payment must be made in full prior to taking your baby home or having your baby shipped.
Cash only is accepted NO cheques. Payment of the deposit is required in full to secure your baby. Payment plan options after
the deposit can be negotiated over the weaning period to help alleviate the financial impact of buying a parrot. Baby must
be paid in full by 13 weeks of age.
REFUSAL OF SALE
Little Miracles Aviary reserves the right to refuse a sale at any time. We are not obligated
to share the information on our decision not to sell the baby. If a deposit has been placed on a baby the deposit will be
fully refunded to the client as per Deposit policy.
GUARANTEE
At Little Miracles Aviary we offer a 7 day guarantee. After 7 days diseases and infections
can be contracted from else where. The guarantee will only be honoured if proof of the bird seeing a registered avian vet
within the first 7 days can be provided as well as a necropsy to prove cause of death. If all conditions are met
a replacement of the bird will be provided immediately if able or within 6 months. If the bird can not be replaced within
6 months a full refund will be issued.
